It’s noisy, it’s crowded, it’s polluted - breathing the air here is like smoking a pack of cigarettes a day - but it’s home.

“Home” can be a fluid concept to TCK’s, and I’ve given many answers to the question.  Small talk: Texas, California, Florida, whatever State I’m not in at the moment.  Longer small talk: Oman, Egypt.  More thoughtful conversations: the lifestyle itself, finding stability in constant motion.  Other conversations: wherever my immediate family is.
